![]() Atleast 3,400,000 rifles are been produced between 19. Later, some rifles have been redesigned with the new 7,7mm rounds and become the Arisaka Type 99 rifle. Out this design many other variants have been designed. However, it enter in Japanese service but also export to other country's like Thailand and during the First World War as training rifle by the British forces. It was a long rifle and it wasn't an easy rifle to handle. This relatively small caliber ensures that there is a low recoil. The results was this beautiful rifle wich can fire the 6.5×50mm Arisaka bullet. It enters in service during the 38th year of the Meiji Periode (stands for 1905) as successor to the Type 30 Arisaka. The Arisaka Type 38 rifle (三八式歩兵銃, san-bachi-shiki hoheijū), or also know as the Type 38 Year Meiji Carbine, was a rifle used by Japan during the Russo-Japanese War, the Russian Civil War, the First World War, the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Second World War. ![]()
